Printmakers and their practices

We want to do a printmaking survey about printmakers and their practices around the world and …

We are conducting this survey to understand, in a global and localized way, what are the main demands of printmakers and how we can help them.

The results will serve as a study and reflection for the entire printmakers‘ community.

We ask that you take your time answering all questions as accurately as possible.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Let’s grow this survey and make something special for the whole community and the study of printmaking in our time.

Share it with your contacts and help us spread the word!

Let’s try to reach the largest number of printmakers in the world.

One of the best things that existed for worldwide printmakers was something called “Inkteraction” it was on It existed for about 3 or 4 years. On there you could upload your latest artworks. You could start a group in relation to a particular exhibition or project or whatever.

There was also a forum where loads and loads of technical questions were asked and lots of knowledge was shared.

There was also a special area for listing “Calls to Artists” for upcoming Biennials and such like as well as International Print Exchange Projects.

Each artist had their own page and their own portfolio into which they could upload their etchings etc…………….through that ‘printmakers community website’ one could make contacts and also upload photos and videos about printmaking.

I am sure that if such a website was started up again , printmakers would be willing to pay a small annual amount to join. For example 2 US dollars a year or 2 UK pounds sterling or whatever the equivalent was in other currencies.

      Hi Aine.
It was with pleasure, and some surprise, that we received your comment.
Pleasure because we realized we were working the right way, surprised because you seem to know what we were preparing.
We ended up not responding immediately because we were about to launch our new project but we were not ready yet. But now it’s done!
NetworkINK is the new social network for printmakers powered by TOP Printmaking. We hope to see you there! 😉
