About TOP Printmaking

TOP printmaking is a community project created by printmakers and printmaking lovers that is getting more visibility and importance with each passing day.

This project started with the name “Prensador” in 2011, initially thought to be an independent publisher, promoting and spreading the works of the community, with the creation of collections of prints and exchange between artists.

This new project begins to be thought out at the end of the year 2017 and has its official launch in February 2018.

The project evolved into a global project that aims to create the largest internet source of relevant content about printmaking.

We promote our work as artists, as well as the techniques we use, from the most traditional to the most innovative. We show you how to do it! We write about tools, inks, papers and all kinds of material that can be found in a printmaking workshop.

We currently have a huge network of collaborators across the globe and we are making this community increasingly a benchmark for all graphic artists and new talents, making printmaking its undisputed place in the network.

Our community is open and continues to grow every day.
If you are a printmaker, if you want to be, if you simply love this art and want to join us … just say something through the various means available.

And if any doubts arise or you have any questions related to any of our articles … ask, comment, make yourself heard! We are here to help everyone and we count on everyone’s help.

We will build the largest printmaking community and help each other in this noble task of raising printmaking to the highest level of knowledge sharing and interaction.

We count on you …
And you can count on us!

    This is an interesting project.
Where in the world are you located? This makes a big difference when it comes to shipping.

    • TOP Team February 13, 2018 at 2:34 pm

We are a group of engravers and printers of various nationalities who work in various places and we are counting on all printmaking lovers to help us.
We will not sell anything so there is no need to worry about the shipping costs … Information only! 😉
If you need help finding a supplier near you for some material we can always help you! That’s the great goal … to help all the printmaking lovers to improve their work.
Come back soon, and if you have something to add, don’t hesitate … comment or contact us. We love feedback!

    Where are you located?

    • TOP Team February 20, 2018 at 2:05 pm

Hello Karen. Thanks for showing up.
We don’t like to talk about location because we are several people involved and we’re trying to create a global project.
If we have to define a place it will have to be Portugal because it’s our birthplace! 😉

Olá Daniel o Prensador! Nice project, I am ready to follow this adventure, and thinking about how to contribute. BTW I can help you with French, and keep you posted about events in France (embora eu seja brasileira…).
